Here’s a round-up of all the summer activity taking place in and around the Castelnau Community Centre during the summer holidays.

Playgroup at CCC for under 5's
Running every morning (weekdays only) for the first two weeks of the summer break: 26th - 30th July & 2nd - 6th August: Monday - Friday, 10.00am - 12.00pm
Cost: (Under 1 year free) £2.50 per child (includes refreshments for carers and children).
Venue: Castelnau Community Centre
Please note: There is NO facility to leave your child at Playgroup during these two weeks.

Summer Community Club
Summer Community Club at CCC for 5 - 11 year olds 26th – 30th July and 2nd – 6th August.
Activity sessions: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10.00am - 12.00pm.
Fun activities including games, cooking, art and crafts and outdoor play. No need to book just drop in, £2.50 per child.
Trips:
Tuesday 27th July: Marble Hill Park for age 7+
Thurs 29th July: Making pizzas at Pizza Express and then the Barnes Wetlands Centre for age 6 - 9's.
Tuesday 3rd August: Horse riding for age 8+
Thurs 5th August. CBBC tour for age 7+

Kids Summer Camp for School Years 3 - 12
Including Multi Sports/Games sessions and Arts & Crafts - Disco on Fridays! 26th July - 27th August at Lowther Primary School.
Standard Day - 9.30am - 4.30pm.
Cost: £20 - Bring packed lunch etc.

Sports Camp
Sports Camp days at Shene Fitness Centre for 8 -14yrs on Mondays 2nd/9th/16th August & Thursdays 5th/12th/19th August including Cricket, Basketball, Street Dance, Tennis, Boxercise, etc. £16.75 per day. Bring packed lunch.

Play Ranger Sessions for 8 - 14 yrs
Join in with the team of experienced Play Rangers and take part in play and exciting adventures, in a park near you in all weathers, all year round!
Their aim is to enable all children to make the most of their local outdoor spaces and parks for play, fun and games and socialising with friends.
Wednesdays in Castelnau Recreation Ground 3.30pm - 5.30pm, free.

Homestart
Homestart Richmond upon Thames supports any local families with children under 5 by offering a trained volunteer to come into the home and help out for a couple of hours a week.
If you decide to ask for support, one of the local organisers will get together with you, talk about your needs and carefully match you with a volunteer.
You don’t have to pay for homestarts’ help and it is confidential.
If you are a parent or have parenting experience you may like to consider becoming a Home Start volunteer and help other families.
