It's never easy being a teenage girl. With so much going on, who do you turn to for help and advice?
This project aims to provide girls with the confidence to discuss topics important to their development.
Working closely with trained workers, the group will discuss a different topic each week as they explore the challenges facing them in today’s modern society.
Sessions still to be confirmed.

Youth Club Update
We have just completed our first summer activities programme which went really well.
It has been such a positive start for the youth club and numbers continue to grow.
Since we reopened we have welcomed over 50 new members to the club and sessions are regularly reaching 30 plus.
The more numbers we get, the better our chances of obtaining additional funding to create even more exciting and
enjoyable projects.
We look forward to seeing you all soon.

NEW PROJECTS
Homework Club
Following requests from a number of young people in the area, the CCP would like
to support the educational development of community members.
We are therefore
going to be running a twice weekly homework club for any young person in the area
who would benefit from both our computer facilities and our work space.
A meal will
also be prepared and served at each session to anyone attending the club.
Please
note that this club is not for recreation or play, the purpose is for group and individual
study, homework and revision.
Anyone not doing work will be asked to leave. Both
the computer suite and the upstairs work room will be available for people to work
in.
Senior Youth Group
The CCP will be opening its doors on a Thursday evening to young people aged 14
and above.
The senior group will consist of workshops, projects and play.
The group
will initially be open only to individuals invited onto the project but anyone interested
in attending should request information from the Centre.
