SUMMARY:Term-time Café
DESCRIPTION:Our cafe is delivered by our team of volunteers (Jayce\, Peter\, Louisa\, Louise\, Liz\, Rosa\, Chris\, Jess and Ellie) on each term time morning. Drop in for a cuppa and a bacon sandwich\, cheese toastie or one of our gorgeous cakes! It is a child friendly space for the whole family. \nWe are always looking for volunteers to help in our café. No previous experience needed as we offer training. The only skill you need is to be happy to muck in! It’s a great way to boost your confidence and meet new people. DESCRIPTION:A conversation group for speakers of other languages. A great way to improve your English by getting together for topical discussions\, chatting and reading aloud together. We are a social group\, often cooking and eating together after the classes\, talking about our families and finding out about each other’s home countries. \nThese Tuesday sessions are less formal and more conversational. If you are looking for more structured and classroom-based lessons you should consider The Welcome Project Structured Learning on Thursdays. \nLed by volunteers who speak English as their first language. FREE SESSION. \nFor more information contact Laila Francis. \nIf you know someone who may benefit from joining our group\, please support them to make contact with us. We are always looking for volunteers for this project.
