DESCRIPTION:A conversation group for speakers of other languages. A great way to improve your English by getting together for topical discussions\, chatting and reading aloud together. We are a social group\, often cooking and eating together after the classes\, talking about our families and finding out about each other’s home countries. \nThese Tuesday sessions are less formal and more conversational. If you are looking for more structured and classroom-based lessons you should consider The Welcome Project Structured Learning on Thursdays. \nLed by volunteers who speak English as their first language. FREE SESSION. \nFor more information contact Laila Francis. \nIf you know someone who may benefit from joining our group\, please support them to make contact with us. We are always looking for volunteers for this project. You do not need to commit to every week and you will be part of a fantastic\, open-minded team. \nThe Welcome Project is delivered in partnership with Barnes Children’s Centre and Richmond & Hillcroft Adult Community College.
